Since there are not that many units, these can be hard to come by, but well worth the wait.
5. RIVERFRONT LOFTS: Just a few minutes over the line from Providence into Pawtucket, the Riverfront Lofts, as the name suggests, are situated on the Blackstone River. Riverfront is really a community with 60 live/work spaces, heavily populated by people working in the arts. Spaces tend to be pretty dramatic. These are mostly condos, individually owned, with a very limited supply available for rent. Still, they are worth a try as a stunning option for someone looking to rent an elegant loft space.
