Residential Properties Ltd., today announced the launch of their newly designed website, ResidentialProperties.com.  Visitors to the new Residential Properties website will find all the things they expect to see on a real estate website including property searches, open houses, rentals, and agents. They will also find cutting edge tools including advanced search capabilities and mapping for property searches, rentals and open houses.

“We have always been on the cutting edge at Residential Properties and I am always looking to differentiate the company from all of our competitors,” said Sally E. Lapides, President and CEO of the Rhode Island real estate firm.  “Our new website will elevate our customer service and expertise in the marketplace.”The primary focus of this newly designed website is to create a heightened user experience.  The new site is able to support a variety of media including virtual tours, interactive floorplans, and video.

As a member of the Enterprise Network, Residential Properties will be able to take advantage of new technologies that are developed for other companies in the network.  Of course central to the site will be all of Rhode Island’s property listings, as well as listings in neighboring Connecticut and Southeastern Massachusetts.“The new site will be user friendly and easy to navigate,” said Tom Flanagan, Director of Information Technology for Residential Properties. “Users will enjoy the comforts of search saving, favorites, the ability to share and email content.” The site is designed to reflect modern web design, with center navigation and a simple look that is in keeping with the company’s overall marketing aesthetic. Also accessible through the website will be extensive resources for buyers and sellers of real estate including quarterly market reports, buyer and seller guides, recent press, and an electronic version of the company’s relocation package.

The “MY Residential” feature of the site allows frequent visitors to become a part of the Residential Properties Ltd. community. Users will receive services designed to assist with their home shopping experience, with access to custom home alerts by email and abilities to save searches and favorites. “The new site reflects 12 months worth of research and effort.  We are very excited about the results.” said Libby Isaacson, COO of Residential Properties and a driving force behind the project.  “It will be both easy to use and visually appealing.”  The newly refaced homepage includes professional photography and showcases the state of Rhode Island through extensive community information and links to useful websites. With a “quick search” on the homepage, viewers in search of property listings are able to navigate directly to a targeted list that meets their criteria.  They can narrow their search by specifying city/town, pricing, bedrooms, and bathroom preferences with ease.

The site is developed by Residential Properties’ technology partner, Active Website in conjunction with the Enterprise Network.  Residential Properties is a member of the Enterprise Network, an invitation-only network of private Real Estate firms. The network functions through the principle of regional exclusivity, which allows for open collaboration and sharing of information among its members who are not in direct competition with one another.
